 EMM Prayer / Praise Minimize

Prayer Requests & Praises for Answered Prayer

  • Praise God for His protection & pray for His continued watchcare over our missionaries, national church leaders & church members as drug wars, violence & kidnappings increase.

  • Pray for discernment among the members of CIEMAR conference of churches. Many false doctrines are being promoted in Mexico by TV & false teachers.

  • Pray for our 43 pastors & their wives to be effective in training leaders within the churches as they work together with the congregations to reach & disciple the lost.

  • Praise for answered prayer. God burdened the heart of John Unruh to become project coordinator for EMM. He has many skills needed for this position & has already led two work teams from U.S. churches. These teams helped during summer 2009.

  • Pray for the Lord's prompting of more Christian to go on work teams to help in Pachuca (Hidalgo), Guadalajara (Jalisco) & Tapachula (Chiapas).

  • Pray for the Bradfords & Unruhs (John/Ali) as they make deputation trips in Sept/Oct. 2009 John & Ali to northwestern US. Dan & Twila to eastern US. Neither the Bradfords, Unruhs nor several other EMM missionaries have enough support to fully meet expenses.

  • Pray for the Roberts' oldest children, Jonathan & Stephanie, who began first year studies at Christian colleges in NYC, NY. & Spokane, WA in August 09.

  • Pray for Paul & Eunice's daughter Rebecca in her 3rd year of university in Idaho. Her goal is to teach in a school for missionary children.

  • Pray for the Bradford's son Daniel, in his last year of Bible college in SD, that God will lead him regarding which of many opportunities he should pursue upon graduation. Pray for daughter Abigail, as she is studying online via Internet, pursuing her desire to teach in a Christian School (in addition to helping her family in weekly children's ministry).

  • Pray for CEIMAR leaders as they provide guidance for the conference churches throughout Mexico. There are many great reports of what God is doing. Praise God for the way several difficult situations were resolved at the annual convention of churches in July 09.

  • Contributions to EMM are down for 2009. Finances are needed to meet the budget, operate the seminary, carry on children's ministries, purchase Bible correspondence courses & to help pay salaries of several national missionaries.

  • Thank God for 9 new students at the seminary in Pachuca including one from Nicaragua. Pray for the teachers as they prepare their lessons. The seminary is becoming more well known; pray for a continued increase in student enrollment & for the Lord's provision for staff that will be needed. We praise the Lord for the professors we have at the seminary; they are good teachers of doctrine.
