Building “Our Rock"
Mexico is presently a country with a lot of violence. It’s youth, like in many other countries, are attracted sucked in to a world of drugs and pleasures that destroy their lives. As God’s people we can make a difference. Reaching these young people, however, is not always that easy. Getting them to church and having them willing to listen to the life-changing Word of God is for some young people nigh impossible. We have already proved that getting them to come to a rock climbing ministry is one way to reach them. As part of this ministry, young people are offered the opportunity to learn to rock climb with the condition that they stay for a Bible study.
This past year one of our missionaries began a ministry called “Nuestra Roca” (Our Rock). For this we are needing funds to build the gym. Land has already been purchased and the ministry has been started but in temporary quarters.
“Building to Bless"
At our Annual Banquet last year we commited to a major year-long project which was to finance the building of a four apartment complex for married students at CETyM. This year we are continuing to raise funds to finish it.
