God called Rev. and Mrs. Walter Gomez to serve Him in Mexico in the mid-1940's. As a result of the number of people being saved  through their visitation and evangelistic meetings, Rev. Gomez realized that God purposed to start a Mission through him in Mexico. He spent a good deal of time studying different mission methods and other mission programs. He wanted to be sure the Lord truly was calling them. Not only did the Lord give the Gomezes the call for this new mission, but He revealed to them the kind of Mission it should be. (read more)

 EMM Financial Principles Minimize

EMM continues the sound financial practices of the past. These are difficult financial times for our nation and the world. We ask that you pray with us that we may continue to help support the seminary and the church conference as well as help with the ongoing building projects that new church planting and growth bring.

Rev. Esteban de la Cruz had been president for six years and now is pastor of one of the churches. The photo was taken at the Walter Gomez Evangelical Center with the photo of Rev. Gomez in the background.

Rev. Gomez was the founder of EMM and instrumental in the formation of the seminary and CIEMAR.

Rev. Carrasco will continue to be the pastor of a small church as he takes on this added responsibility of the leadership of the fellowship. He and nine other pastors have the oversight of the 43 churches and missions in Mexico as well as several national missionaries. CIEMAR also supports a national missionary family in an Asian country.
