Is EMM affiliated with a denomination?
No, EMM is an independent, non-denominational, Scriptural based, evangelical organization.

What is EMM's Mission Statement?
With God's help to reach Spanish-speaking people throughout the world with the Good News of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ and disciple them for Christian ministry.

Are contributions to EMM tax deductible?

Evangelical Mission Ministries, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible.

  • To receive a receipt in the U.S., make contributions payable to Evangelical Mission ministries and send to PO Box 636, Pharr, TX 78577.
  • To receive a receipt in Canada, make contributions payable to Global Outreach Mission and send to EMM, c/o GOM, PO Box 1210, St. Catharines, Ont. L2R 7A7. EMM appreciates GOM's willingness to process Canadian funds for us.

 

How do I apply for missionary service with EMM?/How are missionaries supported?
  • Contact our office in Pharr for applications & openings. After all documents are in order, the Board of Directors will review & make the final decision regarding acceptance.
  • EMM is faith-based and missionaries raise their own support via people/churches.

 

Are opportunities available for work teams?
Yes. Teams have helped in construction of churches and parsonages in Mexico, buildings at the WGE Center in Pachuca and the Christian School in Aguascalientes. Volunteers have put roofs on several headquarters buildings in Pharr, TX. We currently need volunteers for construction in Tapachula, Chiapas; Salina Cruz, Oaxaca; Saltillo, Coahuila; and Pachuca, Hidalgo.

Do you have any specific equipment needs?
  • DVD projectors and portable sound systems for evangelism

At the EMM Offices in Pharr, Texas:

Administration, Support, Printing, Communications, Media Development and Publication, Project Coordination, Scheduling, Training, Sending Agency for American and Canadian Missionaries to CIEMAR and CETyM as well as other ministries outside of the CIEMAR conference including a Christian School and Christian Bookstores, Fund Raising for Building and Construction of New Churches or Renovation of existing buildings, Organizing and overseeing missions trips for supporting US churches, Recruiting.

 


EMM at CIEMAR

 At CIEMAR Churches throughout Mexico:

Assists in Building and Construction of New Churches and/or Parsonages, Renovation of existing buildings, Assists with printed materials for classes, training and discipleship, Mission teams from the US assisting with Vacation Bible  Schools and childrens evangelism.  Similiar stateside roles for assisting seminary CETyM in Pachuca as well as financially supporting partial and full scholarships for needy students.

At CETyM Seminary in Pachuca:

EMM Missionaries sit on advisory board to the seminary, Assistance in Building and Construction and Maintanance of Dorms, Classrooms, Facilities and Offices, Assisting with partial and full student scholarship, Assisting with financialy supporting  staff salaries. Assisting with printed materials for classes, training and discipleship, Mission teams from the US assisting with on campus projects.
