We Believe

The Bible is the Word of God, verbally inspired, a product of men controlled of the Spirit so that it is the truth without any admixture of error for its matter and is the center of Christian union and supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried.” II Tim. 3:16,17

There is one living and true God, infinite, intelligent Spirit, Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, who is worthy of all honor, confidence and love; three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the unity of the Godhead. I Cor. 8:6; John 15:26

By the new birth the one dead in trespasses and sins is made a partaker of the divine nature and receives eternal life solely by the power of the Holy Spirit and thus becomes obedient to the gospel which is manifested in the fruits of repentance and faith and newness of life. John 3:33; II Cor. 5:17

Justification includes the pardon of sin, the gift of eternal life on principles of God’s righteousness, bestowed only through faith in the Redeemer’s blood. Rom. 8:1; Rom. 5:1,9

Man is saved only by grace through the mediatorial office of the Son of God who by His death made full and vicarious atonement of our sins, not exemplary but substitutionary and voluntary, the Just dying for the unjust. Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 3:24

A local church is a congregation of born again believers; the true church consists of all born again believers and is the bride of Christ waiting for His return and the rapture. Acts 2:42; Eph. 5:22-32; I Thess. 4:13-18
